چکیده

Time-zero adjustment or the true ground surface for penetrating radar (GPR) applications is a very important aspect and an essential factor in order to position subsurface targets, especially those located at shallow depths, their depth. As transmitted received signals from GPR antennas are affected by presence of different materials with varying electromagnetic properties, adjusting time zero appropriately important, but often not straightforward accurately. This paper uses realistic three-dimensional numerical model transducer examine where best location on trace. It shown that, establish robust consistent time-zero position, careful consideration also needed around how two-way travel reflected wavelet estimated. Starting simple homogeneous set better process picking wavelets put forward, that verified using further more complex heterogeneous models. Further verification obtained experimental data.

On establishing the accuracy of noise tomography travel-time measurements in a realistic medium

S U M M A R Y It has previously been shown that the Green’s function between two receivers can be retrieved by cross-correlating time series of noise recorded at the two receivers. This property has been derived assuming that the energy in normal modes is uncorrelated and perfectly equipartitioned, or that the distribution of noise sources is uniform in space and the waves measured satisfy a hi...

A numerical study of fractional order reverse osmosis desalination model using Legendre wavelet approximation

The purpose of this study is to develop a new approach in modeling and simulation of a reverse osmosis desalination system by using fractional differential equations. Using the Legendre wavelet method combined with the decoupling and quasi-linearization technique, we demonstrate the validity and applicability of our model. Examples are developed to illustrate the fractional differential techniq...

Realistic Model of Dispersive Soils Using Plrc-fdtd with Applications to Gpr Systems

Abstract—A realistic model of ground soil is developed for the electromagnetic simulation of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) systems. A three dimensional Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) algorithm is formulated to model dispersive media using N -term Debye permittivity function with static conductivity. The formulation of the algorithm is based on the concept of the Piecewise Linear Recursiv...

Gpr Signal Analysis: Instantaneous Parameter Estimation Using the Wavelet Transform

The classic approach for estimating instantaneous parameters relies on using the Hilbert Transform (HT). The HT method extracts the instantaneous parameters by comparing the imaginary part with the real part of an analytical signal. The instantaneous parameters obtained this way are frequently contaminated by noises. Using the wavelet transform (WT), one can extract the instantaneous parameters...
